STC_TM155
- Variant &1 for task list &2 is local and cannot be transported ?The SAP error message STC_TM155 indicates that a task list (or variant) is local and cannot be transported. This typically occurs when you are trying to transport a task list that has been created or modified in a local system, and it has not been defined in a transportable way.
Cause:
- Local Task List: The task list or variant you are trying to transport is defined as local, meaning it exists only in the current system and is not part of a transport request.
- Transport Settings: The task list may not have been assigned to a transport request, or it may have been created in a way that does not allow it to be transported.
- Development vs. Production: If you are working in a production environment, certain task lists may be restricted from being transported to prevent unintended changes.
Solution:
Check Transport Request: Ensure that the task list is included in a transport request. You can do this by:
- Going to the transaction code
STC01
(Task List Management).- Checking if the task list is assigned to a transport request.
- If not, you may need to create a transport request and assign the task list to it.
Create a Transportable Version: If the task list is local, you may need to create a new version of the task list that is transportable. This can often be done by:
- Copying the local task list to a new task list that is defined in a transportable way.
- Ensuring that the new task list is created in a development environment where transport requests are used.
Review Task List Settings: Check the settings of the task list to ensure it is configured correctly for transport. This may involve:
- Reviewing the properties of the task list in the task list management transaction.
- Ensuring that it is not marked as a local task list.
Consult Documentation: If you are unsure about how to proceed, consult the SAP documentation or your organization's SAP support team for guidance on how to manage task lists and transport requests.
