  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message SRT_WSP3146 - System with id &1 is already managed. Register it with same tenant key. ?

The SAP error message SRT_WSP3146 indicates that there is an issue with the registration of a system in the SAP Web Services framework. Specifically, it means that the system with the specified ID is already registered and is being managed under the same tenant key. This can occur in scenarios where multiple systems are trying to register with the same identifier or tenant key, leading to conflicts.

    Cause:

    1. Duplicate Registration: The system ID you are trying to register is already in use. This can happen if the same system is being registered multiple times, either by mistake or due to a misconfiguration.
    2. Configuration Issues: There may be issues in the configuration of the Web Services or the system landscape that lead to incorrect registrations.
    3. Tenant Key Conflicts: If you are using a multi-tenant setup, the tenant key might be causing conflicts if the same key is being used for different systems.

    Solution:

    1. Check Existing Registrations: Verify if the system ID is already registered. You can do this by checking the relevant configuration in the SAP system or using transaction codes like SOAMANAGER to view the registered services.
    2. Remove Duplicate Entries: If you find that the system is registered multiple times, you may need to remove the duplicate entry. This can typically be done through the same configuration tools.
    3. Use Unique System IDs: Ensure that each system has a unique ID when registering. If you are working in a multi-tenant environment, make sure that the tenant keys are also unique and correctly configured.
    4. Re-register the System: After resolving any duplicates or conflicts, try to re-register the system with the correct ID and tenant key.
    5. Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to the specific version of your SAP system for any additional troubleshooting steps or known issues.

    Related Information:

    • Transaction Codes: Use SOAMANAGER to manage web service configurations and registrations.
