The SAP error message SRT_CORE154 indicates that there is an issue with the BAdI (Business Add-In) implementation for IDoc extensibility. This error typically occurs when the system is unable to process an IDoc due to a failure in the BAdI that is supposed to handle the extensibility of the IDoc.

    Cause:

    1. BAdI Implementation Issues: The BAdI implementation may not be correctly defined or activated. This could be due to missing or incorrect coding in the BAdI method.
    2. Configuration Problems: There may be configuration issues related to the IDoc processing or the BAdI itself.
    3. Data Issues: The data being processed may not meet the expected format or requirements, leading to a failure in the BAdI.
    4. Authorization Issues: The user executing the IDoc processing may not have the necessary authorizations to execute the BAdI.

    Solution:

    1. Check BAdI Implementation:

      • Go to transaction SE18 (BAdI Definition) and check the implementation of the BAdI related to IDoc extensibility.

      • Check the application logs for more detailed error messages. You can use transaction SLG1 to view the logs related to the IDoc processing.
      • Look for any specific error messages that can provide more context on why the BAdI failed.
    3. Test the BAdI:

      • If possible, test the BAdI implementation in a development or test environment to see if it works as expected. This can help identify any coding issues.
    4. Check Configuration:

      • Review the configuration settings related to IDoc processing and ensure that they are set up correctly. This includes checking the IDoc types, message types, and partner profiles.
