SPXN075
- Mode of source consumer different from mode of operation mapping ?The SAP error message SPXN075, which states "Mode of source consumer different from mode of operation mapping," typically occurs in the context of SAP Process Integration (PI) or SAP Process Orchestration (PO). This error indicates a mismatch between the mode of the source consumer (the system or application sending the message) and the mode defined in the operation mapping.
Cause:
- Mode Mismatch: The source consumer is configured to use a different mode (e.g., synchronous or asynchronous) than what is defined in the operation mapping. For example, if the operation mapping is set to handle synchronous messages, but the source consumer is sending asynchronous messages, this error will occur.
- Configuration Issues: There may be incorrect configurations in the Integration Directory or in the sender/receiver agreements that lead to this mismatch.
- Service Interface Settings: The service interface settings for the source consumer may not align with the expected settings in the operation mapping.
Solution:
- Check Operation Mapping: Review the operation mapping in the Integration Directory to ensure that the mode (synchronous or asynchronous) matches the mode of the source consumer.
- Adjust Consumer Settings: If the source consumer is incorrectly configured, adjust its settings to match the expected mode defined in the operation mapping.
- Review Sender/Receiver Agreements: Ensure that the sender and receiver agreements are correctly set up and that they align with the operation mapping.
- Test with Different Modes: If possible, test the integration scenario with both synchronous and asynchronous modes to identify where the mismatch occurs.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to the specific version of SAP PI/PO you are using for any additional insights or updates regarding this error.
