The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
To get detailed information regarding inconsistencies that are present
<(>,<)> perform the check for the proxy object in transaction SPROXY.
To get a consistent proxy, all warnings and errors that have been
registered must be resolved.
Please note that short texts are checked using the logon language. If
the logon language is different from the original language of the proxy
object, then this can cause texts in different languages to be compared
and therefore incorrect inconsistencies can be found.
To avoid this, the check must be performed in the original language of
the proxy object.
If the test proxy object contains different original languages it is
then not generally possible to avoid incorrect inconsistencies being
found. If this occurs you must decide using the detailed information
whether inconsistencies that need to be resolved really exist.

SAP messages fall into 3 different categories: Error messages
(message type = E), Warnings (W) or Informational (I) messages.
An error message will prevent you from continuing your work - it is a hard stop and you need to fix the error before you can proceed. A warning message will stop your work, however, you can then bypass the warning by pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. That said, it is still good practice to investigate the cause of the warning message and address it. An information message will not stop your work and is truly just for informational purposes.
