Message text: Proxy &1 &2 is inactive. Activate before transport release.
Before a transport request is released it is checked whether proxy
object is active.
Proxy has status inactive, release of request is not possible.
Activate object in proxy editor.
&HINTS&
From within transport organizer the navigation via double click results
in se11/se24 editor. To activate the proxy you have to choose the button
"Proxy Editor". Inside the proxy editor switch to edit mode and activate
the proxy.
It may also happen that the navigation does not work because the
relevant DDIC/Class Library object is not yet available at that point
(because the proxy was never activated before). If so, you can navigate
to proxy editor via SE80, SPROXY or SPROXY_START.

SPRX168
- Proxy &1 &2 is inactive. Activate before transport release. ?The SAP error message SPRX168 indicates that a proxy object (specifically a proxy interface or proxy class) is inactive and needs to be activated before it can be transported. This error typically occurs in the context of SAP Process Integration (PI) or SAP Process Orchestration (PO) when you are trying to release a transport request that includes proxy objects.
Cause:
The primary cause of this error is that the proxy object you are trying to transport has not been activated in the SAP system. Proxy objects must be active in order to be included in a transport request. If they are inactive, the system will prevent the transport from being released to ensure that only valid and active objects are moved between systems.
Solution:
To resolve the SPRX168 error, follow these steps:
Activate the Proxy Object:
- Go to the transaction code
SPROXY
in the SAP GUI.- Locate the proxy object that is causing the issue (you may need to search for it using the name or other identifying information).
- Activate the proxy object by selecting it and choosing the "Activate" option.
Check Dependencies:
- Ensure that all dependent objects (like service interfaces, message types, etc.) are also active. Sometimes, a proxy may depend on other objects that need to be activated as well.
Transport Request:
- After activating the proxy, go back to the transport request and try to release it again. The error should no longer appear if all necessary objects are active.
Check for Errors:
- If the error persists, check the system logs or the transport logs for any additional error messages that might provide more context.
