Solution:
Check User Roles:
- Go to transaction SU01 (User Maintenance) and enter the user ID.
- Check the roles assigned to the user and see if any of them include access to the PAL transaction.
Review Authorization Objects:
- Use transaction SU53 immediately after receiving the error to see which authorization checks failed. This will provide insight into what specific authorization object is missing.
- Common authorization objects for transaction PAL include
S_TCODE
(for transaction codes) and possibly others related to product allocation.Modify Roles:
- If you have the necessary permissions, you can modify the roles using transaction PFCG (Profile Generator) to include the required authorization objects for the PAL transaction.
- If you do not have the necessary permissions, contact your SAP security administrator or the person responsible for user authorizations in your organization.
Testing:
- After making changes to the roles or authorizations, ask the user to log out and log back in to see if the issue is resolved.
