SOAP_CFG_CC054
- Service Group Configuration consistent with design-time ?The SAP error message SOAP_CFG_CC054 typically indicates an issue with the configuration of a service group in the context of SAP's web services, particularly when using the SOAP protocol. This error suggests that there is a mismatch or inconsistency in the service group configuration compared to what is defined at design-time.
Cause:
- Configuration Mismatch: The service group configuration in the runtime environment does not match the design-time configuration. This could be due to changes made in the design-time environment that have not been properly transported or activated in the runtime environment.
- Transport Issues: If the service group was recently transported from one system to another (e.g., from development to production), there may have been issues during the transport process that led to incomplete or incorrect configurations.
- Missing Dependencies: The service group may depend on other configurations or services that are not correctly set up or are missing.
- Versioning Issues: There may be version discrepancies between the service definitions in the design-time and runtime environments.
Solution:
- Check Configuration Consistency: Verify that the service group configuration in the runtime environment matches the design-time configuration. This can be done by comparing the settings in the relevant transaction codes (e.g., SOAMANAGER).
- Re-transport Configuration: If there are discrepancies, consider re-transporting the service group configuration from the development system to the target system, ensuring that all dependencies are included.
- Activate Services: Ensure that all relevant services and service groups are activated in the SOAMANAGER. Sometimes, services may need to be reactivated to resolve inconsistencies.
- Check for Missing Dependencies: Review the service group for any missing dependencies or related services that need to be configured or activated.
- Review Logs: Check the application logs (transaction SLG1) for any additional error messages or warnings that may provide more context about the issue.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to the specific version of SAP you are using, as there may be known issues or patches available.
