  • What causes this issue?

The Enterprise Services Repository (ES Repository) namespace of the
current SIW project has not been properly defined. The information in
    the
<DS:DE.SIW_DTE_ESR_NAMESPACE>ESR namespace</> field is either missing
    or erroneous.

    System Response

The system cancels processing and does not execute subsequent steps such
as proxy generation or generation of implementations.

    How to fix this error?

Ensure that you have entered a correct ES Repository namespace
    information in the project header.
If the information is correct, use the SIW Monitor to regenerate the
mapping signature for the current service. To do so, choose transaction
<DS:TRAN.SIW_MONITOR>SIW_MONITOR</>, enter the project name in the
    <DS:DE.SIW_DTE_PROJECT_ID>Project ID</> field and choose <LS>Execute
</>. You are on a new screen now. Select the project and choose the
<LS>Synchronize Project -> API </>icon in the toolbar.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Additional Hints
Within the SIW transaction, you can navigate from the displayed log
dialog to the erroneous mapping node. When you double-click the log
message, the system opens the corresponding detail screen and leaves the
log open. This enables you to correct the incorrect mapping entries
right away. To update the log messages, click the Mapping Check
    pushbutton again.

    Cause:

    1. Namespace Conflicts: The error often occurs when there are conflicting or duplicate namespaces in the ES Repository.

    2. Transport Consistency: Ensure that all necessary objects were included in the transport requests. If you suspect that some objects are missing, you may need to re-transport them.
    3. Consistency Check: Use transaction SE80 or SE11 to perform a consistency check on the objects in the ES Repository. This can help identify any inconsistencies.
    4. Recreate Objects: If specific objects are causing the issue, consider recreating them in the ES Repository. This may involve deleting the problematic objects and re-importing or re-creating them.
    5. Check for Updates: Ensure that your SAP system is up to date with the latest support packages and notes, as SAP may have released fixes for known issues related to the ES Repository.
    6. Consult SAP Notes: Look for relevant SAP Notes in the SAP Support Portal that may address this specific error. There may be specific instructions or patches available.
