What causes this issue?

When you create or modify a material, the material should have the same
segmentation strategy as that of the OB. ref. material on the
Segmentation Data screen.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Ensure that the segmentation strategy of the material and OB ref.
material are the same.
