  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

For proxy &2, the corresponding service definition &1 is inconsistent.
Data in Table VEPCROSSREF is missing. This can happen due to a failed
import of the proxy and its service definition.

    How to fix this error?

In order to repair the service definition, you can do the following:
    1. If the problem occurs only in a system where the proxy has been
imported (and not in the source system), it should be sufficient to
retransport the proxy and the service definition. In order to do this,
log on to the source system and create a new transport request. This
request must contain the following three objects:

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    PGMID,, OBJECT,, OBJ_NAME
    R3TR,, INTF,, II_[...]
    R3TR,, SPRX,, INTFII[..]
R3TR,, WEBI,, [Name of Service Definition]
    2. If the problem also occurs in the source system of the proxy, execute
Report 'WS_VEPCROSSREF_REPAIR', and provide the Service Definition Name.
Optionally, you can choose to directly create a transport request for
the involved objects. Run the report. This should create the missing
entries in table VEPCROSSREF and optionally create a transport request
with the relevant 3 objects (INTF, SPRX and WEBI, as described above
    under 1).
