Message text: Enhancement object &1 inconsistent (n version exists)
Enhancement object &V1& (type &V2&) is inconsistent.
There is also a socalled internal n version of this enhancement object.
Whenever an enhancement object is imported into a system by a transport
or upgrade, an n version exists for a short time. The n version is
deleted again during the import steps of the transport or upgrade (DDIC
activation, mass activation, after-import methods). Since the n version
still exists at this time, this means that the import steps for this
enhancement object have not been performed correctly or they have been
canceled due to an error.
The enhancement object cannot be displayed or processed as long as this
inconsistency exists.
Inform your system manager.
Check in the log files of the corresponding transport or upgrade why the
import steps for this enhancement object have not been executed
correctly. Remove any errors that may have occurred and execute the
import steps once again.

SEEF_BASE310
- Enhancement object &1 inconsistent (n version exists) ?The SAP error message SEEF_BASE310 indicates that there is an inconsistency with an enhancement object in the system. Specifically, it suggests that there are multiple versions of the enhancement object, which can lead to confusion and issues during execution.
Cause:
The error typically arises due to one of the following reasons:
- Multiple Versions: There are multiple versions of the enhancement object in the system, which can occur if the object has been modified or transported incorrectly.
- Transport Issues: If the enhancement was transported from one system to another (e.g., from development to production), inconsistencies may arise if the transport did not include all necessary components or if there were changes made directly in the target system.
- Development Environment Issues: If multiple developers are working on the same enhancement object without proper version control, it can lead to inconsistencies.
Solution:
To resolve the SEEF_BASE310 error, you can follow these steps:
Check Versions: Use transaction SE80 or SE11 to check the versions of the enhancement object. Look for any inconsistencies or multiple versions that may exist.
Delete Unused Versions: If you find multiple versions, determine which version is the correct one and delete the unnecessary ones. This can often be done in the enhancement management area.
Transport Consistency: Ensure that all necessary transports have been applied correctly. If you suspect that a transport is missing, you may need to re-transport the enhancement object.
Check for Modifications: If the enhancement object has been modified directly in the production system, ensure that these changes are documented and transported back to the development system to maintain consistency.
Use Transaction SE19: If you are using Business Add-Ins (BAdIs), you can use transaction SE19 to manage and check the implementations of the BAdIs to ensure they are consistent.
Consult SAP Notes: Check the SAP Support Portal for any relevant SAP Notes that may address this specific error or provide additional guidance.
