The SAP error message SEEF_BASE173 indicates that you are trying to delete an enhancement spot that contains a migrated Business Add-In (BAdI). This situation arises when the enhancement spot has been migrated from an older version of SAP to a newer one, and the system prevents deletion to maintain data integrity and avoid issues with the migrated BAdI.

    Cause:

    1. Migrated BAdI: The enhancement spot you are trying to delete contains a BAdI that has been migrated from an older version of SAP. The system does not allow the deletion of enhancement spots that contain migrated BAdIs to ensure that any associated customizations or enhancements remain intact.
    2. Dependencies: There may be dependencies or references to the BAdI in other parts of the system, which could lead to inconsistencies if the enhancement spot were deleted.

    Solution:

    1. Check Dependencies: Before attempting to delete the enhancement spot, check for any dependencies or references to the BAdI. You can use transaction SE18 (BAdI Definition) or SE19 (BAdI Implementation) to analyze the BAdI and its implementations.
    2. Remove Implementations: If you determine that the BAdI implementations are no longer needed, you can remove them first. This may involve:
      • Deactivating or deleting the BAdI implementations associated with the enhancement spot.
      • Ensuring that no other objects depend on these implementations.
    3. Consult Documentation: Review the SAP documentation or notes related to the specific BAdI and enhancement spot to understand the implications of removing them.
    4. Contact SAP Support: If you are unsure about the implications of deleting the enhancement spot or if you encounter issues, consider reaching out to SAP support for guidance.

    Related Information:
