The highest assigned log sequence number is a number between 1 and 2^32
= 4,294,967,296. However, the counter displayed here, which shows this
number is only counted up from 1 to 2^31 - it then jumps to -2^31 and
counts up again to -1 (-1 is therefore the highest possible log sequence
number). The threshold values are therefore negative numbers.
