  • What causes this issue?

You tried to implement corrections that are contained in an SAP Note in

To ensure that the corrections can be transported completely into your
other systems, you must enter all the objects that are corrected by the
SAP Note, including the SAP Note data, in a change request.

    various requests.

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message SCWN006 - Objects from SAP Note are in multiple requests ?

The SAP error message SCWN006 indicates that there are objects from a specific SAP Note that are included in multiple transport requests. This situation can arise during the implementation of SAP Notes, especially when the same objects are modified or included in different transport requests, leading to potential conflicts or inconsistencies.

    Cause:

    1. Multiple Transport Requests: The same objects (like programs, function modules, etc.) are included in more than one transport request. This can happen if different developers or teams are working on the same objects simultaneously.
    2. Manual Changes: If changes are made manually to the same objects in different development environments, they may end up being captured in different transport requests.
    3. Note Implementation: When implementing an SAP Note, if the objects affected by the note are already included in other transport requests, this error can occur.

    Solution:

    1. Identify Transport Requests: Use transaction code SE01 or SE09 to identify all transport requests that contain the objects mentioned in the error message. You can check the transport logs to see which requests are involved.
    2. Consolidate Changes: If possible, consolidate the changes into a single transport request. This may involve removing the objects from one of the transport requests and ensuring that all changes are captured in a single request.
    3. Re-implement the Note: If the objects are already in transport requests, you may need to remove the note implementation and re-implement it after resolving the transport request conflicts.
    4. Check for Dependencies: Ensure that there are no dependencies or other objects that might be affected by the changes. This can help avoid further conflicts.
    5. Consult Documentation: Review the documentation for the specific SAP Note to understand any prerequisites or dependencies that may affect the implementation.

    Related Information:

    • Transport Management System (TMS): Understanding how the TMS works can help in managing transport requests effectively.
    • SAP Notes: Regularly check for updates or corrections related to the specific SAP Note you are working with, as SAP may provide additional guidance or solutions.
    • Version Control: Implementing a version control strategy for your development objects can help prevent such conflicts in the future.
    • Collaboration: Encourage better communication among team members to avoid simultaneous changes to the same objects.

If the issue persists after following these steps, consider reaching out to SAP support for further assistance.
