  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The system in which you are trying to change customizing data is
connected to automatic customizing distribution, which can lock all or
part of customizing tables against manual changes.

    System Response

The information whether the customizing object should only be changed in
the central system, and distributed from there, is not available. The
system lets you change the customizing object. Possible locks are
    ignored

    How to fix this error?

Wait until the lock information is available from the central system. In
urgent cases or in a BC Set activation, you can change the data. If a
customizing object is locked, inconsistencies may occur in your system
    landscape.
Before Solution Manager 3.1 SP5 this error may arise because your user
ID is not valid in the central system. Try again with a user ID which
isalso valid in the central system.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
