    System Response

The system detected that &V3& objects exist only in the HTA Repository
and not on the database in the HDI container &V1& (the name of the
physical container in the database is &V2&). The transport names (LIMU
HOTO) of the objects are listed in the following lines of the log.
There are several reasons why objects exist only in the HTA Repository:
In the development environment for HDI objects (SAP Web IDE for SAP
HANA), objects were deleted and the deletions were deployed from here to
the HDI container. The deletions were not, however, checked in to the
HTA Repository (for example using HDI Namespace Editor in the ABAP
    Development Tools (ADT)).
The HDI objects were deleted in the HDI containers using other tools,
but not in the HTA Repository

    How to fix this error?

Check whether the objects in question were not checked in and check them
in if necessary. You can do this using HDI Namespace Editor.
If the objects were deleted in the HDI container using other tools, make
sure that these objects are also deleted in HTA.

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message SCTS_HDI309 - Objects that only exist in HTA: &3 ?

The SAP error message SCTS_HDI309 indicates that there are objects in the HANA Transport Container (HTC) that exist only in the HANA Transport Application (HTA) and not in the target system. This typically occurs during the transport of HANA database objects when there is a mismatch between the source and target systems regarding the objects being transported.

    Cause:

    The error arises when:

    • Objects that are part of the transport request are not present in the target system.

    Solution:

To resolve the SCTS_HDI309 error, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check the Transport Request: Review the transport request to ensure that all necessary objects are included. You can do this by checking the contents of the transport request in the HANA Studio or using the SAP HANA Transport Management Console.

    2. Verify Object Existence: Confirm that the objects mentioned in the error message actually exist in the source system and are correctly defined in the transport request.

    3. Export Missing Objects: If the objects are missing in the target system, you may need to export them from the source system again. Ensure that all relevant objects are included in the transport request.

    4. Re-import the Transport Request: After ensuring that all necessary objects are included, try re-importing the transport request into the target system.

    5. Check for Dependencies: Sometimes, objects may have dependencies on other objects. Ensure that all dependent objects are also included in the transport request.

    6. Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to transport management and HDI containers for any specific guidelines or updates that may apply to your situation.

    7. Contact SAP Support: If the issue persists after following the above steps, consider reaching out to SAP support for further assistance.
