Message text: Objects that do not match in HTA and HDI: &3
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
The system detected that &V3& objects in the HDI container &V1& (the
name of the physical container in the database is &V2&) do not match the
objects in the HTA Repository. The transport names (LIMU HOTO) of the
objects are listed in the following lines of the log.
There are several reasons why the objects in HTA and HDI do not match:
In the development environment for HDI objects (SAP Web IDE for SAP
HANA), HDI objects were modified and deployed from here to the HDI
container but not checked in to the HTA Repository (for example using
HDI Namespace Editor in the ABAP Development Tools (ADT)).
The HDI objects were deployed to the HDI container using other tools and
not yet made known to the HTA Repository.
Check whether the objects in question were not checked in and check them
in if necessary. You can do this using HDI Namespace Editor.
If the objects were deployed to the HDI container using other tools,
make sure that these objects are also made known to HTA.

SCTS_HDI305
- Objects that do not match in HTA and HDI: &3 ?The SAP error message SCTS_HDI305 indicates a mismatch between the objects defined in the HDI (HANA Deployment Infrastructure) and those in the HTA (HANA Transport Application). This typically occurs during the transport of HDI objects, where the system detects that the objects in the transport request do not match the objects in the target HDI container.
Cause:
The error can be caused by several factors, including:
- Version Mismatch: The version of the object in the source HDI container may differ from the version in the target HDI container.
- Missing Objects: Some objects that are expected to be present in the target HDI container may be missing.
- Changes in Object Definition: The object definitions may have been altered after the transport request was created, leading to inconsistencies.
- Transport Request Issues: The transport request may not have been properly created or may have been corrupted.
Solution:
To resolve the SCTS_HDI305 error, you can take the following steps:
Check Object Versions: Verify that the versions of the objects in the source and target HDI containers match. You can do this by comparing the object definitions in both environments.
Review Transport Request: Ensure that the transport request includes all necessary objects and that they are correctly defined. You may need to recreate the transport request if it appears to be incomplete or corrupted.
Synchronize Objects: If there are discrepancies, you may need to manually synchronize the objects between the source and target HDI containers. This can involve exporting the objects from the source and importing them into the target.
Check for Missing Dependencies: Ensure that all dependencies for the objects are included in the transport request. Sometimes, dependent objects may not be included, leading to mismatches.
Consult Logs: Review the transport logs for more detailed error messages that can provide additional context on what specifically is causing the mismatch.
Re-Deploy Objects: If necessary, you can redeploy the objects directly to the target HDI container to ensure that they are in sync.
