  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    System Response

The system detected that the ABAP-managed HDI container &V1& where you
want to deploy HDI objects does not exist or is not active.

    How to fix this error?

In transaction SCTS_AMHC, check whether the logical HDI container &V1&
    exists in this system.
If the container does not exist, check whether a transport request
containing the container &V1& exists. To do this, go to transaction SE03
and use the function <LS>Find Objects in Requests/Tasks</>. Enter the
value <LS>AMHC</> in the input field <LS>OBJ</> and the name of the
    container in the next field.
If you find a request, verify that it was imported and check for any
errors in the deployment of the container in the log of the <LS>SAP HANA
Deployment</> transport step. If possible, remove the errors.
If you do not find a request, create a request with the container in the
source system and import this request into the current system.
Alternatively, you can create the container manually in the current
    system.
If the container only exists as an inactive container, check the log of
the <LS>SAP HANA Deployment</> transport step for the transport request
in question for any deployment errors. If possible, remove the errors
and import the request again. Alternatively, you can activate the
    container in the transaction SCTS_AMHC.
Once the container &V1& is activated, you can import the transport
request with the HDI objects again or create a new request with these
objects in the source system and import it.
Alternatively, you can deploy the objects using the transaction
    SCTS_HDI_DEPLOY.
