- Data records for table/view &1 only read in logon language ?The SAP error message SCPR349 indicates that data records for a specific table or view (denoted by
&1
) are only being read in the logon language of the user. This typically occurs when the system is unable to find the data in the desired language and defaults to the logon language instead.Cause:
- Missing Translations: The primary cause of this error is that the data for the specified table or view is not available in the language that the user is trying to access. - Check Data Availability: Verify if the data exists in the desired language. You can do this by checking the relevant tables or views in the SAP system to see if entries exist for the language you are trying to access.
- Add Translations: If the data is missing in the required language, you may need to add translations. This can be done through the relevant transaction codes (e.g., SE63 for translation).
- Review Language Settings: Ensure that the user’s language settings are correct. You can check this in the user profile settings (transaction SU01).
- Consult Documentation: Review SAP documentation or help resources for the specific table or view to understand how language handling is configured.
