SCPR280
- No data to be compared ?The SAP error message SCPR280 "No data to be compared" typically occurs in the context of SAP Change and Transport System (CTS) or during the comparison of objects in the SAP system, such as during a transport request or when comparing versions of objects.
Cause:
- No Objects Selected: The most common cause is that there are no objects selected for comparison. This can happen if the selection criteria do not match any objects in the system.
- Transport Request Issues: If you are trying to compare transport requests, it may be that the transport request is empty or does not contain any objects.
- Data Not Available: The data you are trying to compare may not exist in the target system or the source system.
- Authorization Issues: Sometimes, lack of proper authorizations can prevent the system from accessing the necessary data for comparison.
Solution:
- Check Object Selection: Ensure that you have selected the correct objects for comparison. Review the selection criteria and make sure they match the objects you want to compare.
- Verify Transport Request: If you are working with transport requests, check that the transport request is not empty and contains the objects you expect. You can do this by reviewing the transport request in transaction SE09 or SE10.
- Check Data Availability: Ensure that the data you are trying to compare exists in both the source and target systems. You may need to perform a transport or ensure that the objects are properly activated.
- Review Authorizations: Make sure you have the necessary authorizations to access the objects you are trying to compare. If you suspect authorization issues, consult with your SAP security team.
- Use Transaction Codes: Utilize transaction codes like SE03 (Transport Organizer Tools) or SE09/SE10 (Transport Management System) to analyze transport requests and their contents.
