Message class: SCI - Code Inspector
Message number: 134
Message text: Limit for maximum number of inspections reached for user &1
There can be no more than 999 global inspections for each user. This
limit would be exceeded for the user &V1& by the current inspection.
No more inspections can be created for the user &V1&.
To create new inspections in the short term, delete some older
inspections and run the report RS_CI_DELETE.
In the long term, consider the following ways of reducing the number of
different inspections:
Make use of the option of creating up to 999 different versions for a
single inspection.
Set the "Delete" date for inspections a few days after the "Create"
date. The default "Delete" date is 50 days after the "Create" date.
Inspections with regular scheduling should not be executed too often.
Use a few inspections to examine larger sets of objects rather than
creating separate inspections for many different objects.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

- Limit for maximum number of inspections reached for user &1 ?The SAP error message SCI134, which states "Limit for maximum number of inspections reached for user &1," typically occurs in the context of SAP Quality Management (QM) when a user has reached the maximum number of inspection lots they can process or create in a given session or period.
Cause:
- User Limit Reached: Each user in SAP can have a predefined limit on the number of inspection lots they can handle simultaneously. This limit is set in the system configuration and is intended to prevent system overload or misuse.

Check User Limits: Review the configuration settings for user limits in the SAP system. This can typically be done by a system administrator or someone with the appropriate authorization.
- Navigate to the relevant configuration settings in the SAP system (usually found in the Quality Management module).
- Look for settings related to inspection lot processing limits for users.
Increase the Limit: If the limit is too low for the user's needs, consider increasing it. This change should be made with caution, as it can affect system performance.
- Consult with your SAP Basis or QM consultant to determine the appropriate limit based on user requirements and system capacity.
Session Management: Encourage users to manage their sessions effectively. If they are working with multiple inspection lots, they should try to process them in smaller batches or close completed lots before starting new ones.
User Training: Provide training to users on how to manage inspection lots effectively within the system, including best practices for processing and creating lots.
System Monitoring: Regularly monitor system performance and user activity to ensure that limits are appropriate and that users are not facing unnecessary restrictions.
