What causes this issue?

You should build the channel name of the ABAP Messaging Channels similar
to an URL, starting with '/' and followed by a valid character. The
characters must not contain the following special characters
'$?@#~`?%[]{}?^!"%&''()*+,.:;<=>?'.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Please check the channel name and do not use the special characters
mentioned above.
