How To Fix S_CUS_IMG_ACTIVITY226 - Maintenance dialog for view/table &1 is incomplete or not defined

SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: S_CUS_IMG_ACTIVITY - IMG Activity

  • Message number: 226

  • Message text: Maintenance dialog for view/table &1 is incomplete or not defined

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The generated maintenance dialog for the view/subtable &V1& does not
    exist or is not complete.

    System Response

The view/subtable &V1& cannot be used in BC sets.

    How to fix this error?

You have the following options to include the view/subtable in BC sets:
If it is a view, then the (SAP) developer responsible must create or
regenerate the corresponding maintenance dialog by using transaction
    SE54.
If it is a subtable, then there is also the option to regenerate the
maintenance dialog by using transaction SE54. Furthermore, there is the
option to remove the maintenance dialog completely. Afterwards, the
system no longer recognizes table &V1& as a subtable, but as a database
table. The database table can be used in BC sets if there are no more
    restrictions regarding BC set capability.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Additional note on subtables: It may occur that a maintenance dialog is
deleted by simply deleting the function group with the generated coding,
that is, not by using transaction SE54. In this case, transaction SOBJ
lends itself to removing the existing object catalog entry for table
&V1&. You should also check whether there is still an entry in the TVDIR
table - if so, it should also be removed.
