S_CUS_IMG_ACTIVITY164
- Object assignment of view/table &2 to object &1 is inconsistent ?The SAP error message S_CUS_IMG_ACTIVITY164 indicates that there is an inconsistency in the assignment of a view or table to a particular object in the SAP system. This typically occurs during configuration activities in the SAP Implementation Guide (IMG) when the system detects that the assignment of a view or table to a specific object is not valid or is missing.
Cause:
- Inconsistent Configuration: The most common cause is that the configuration settings for the object have been changed or deleted, leading to an inconsistency.
- Transport Issues: If changes were transported from one system to another (e.g., from development to production), there may be inconsistencies if the transport was not successful or if the target system is missing certain objects.
- Missing Authorizations: Sometimes, the user may not have the necessary authorizations to view or modify the object, leading to this error.
- Custom Development: If there are custom developments or modifications that are not properly aligned with standard SAP objects, this can lead to inconsistencies.
Solution:
- Check Configuration: Review the configuration settings for the object in question. Ensure that all necessary views and tables are correctly assigned and that there are no missing entries.
- Transport Management: If the issue arose after a transport, check the transport logs for errors. Ensure that all necessary objects were included in the transport request and that they were successfully imported into the target system.
- Authorization Check: Verify that the user has the necessary authorizations to access and modify the object. You can use transaction SU53 to check for authorization issues.
- Consistency Check: Use transaction SE11 (Data Dictionary) to check the consistency of the database objects. You can also use transaction SE14 to perform a database utility check.
- Reassign Objects: If you identify that certain assignments are missing or incorrect, you may need to reassign the views/tables to the object manually.
- Consult Documentation: Review SAP notes and documentation related to the specific object or configuration area to see if there are known issues or additional steps required.
Related Information:
If the problem persists after trying the above solutions, it may be beneficial to consult with an SAP Basis or functional consultant who can provide deeper insights into the specific configuration and system setup.
