Modified dialog: Check the comparison flag in SE54.
The comparison flag is only relevant in customizing objects which are
based on view maintenance (object types 'V', 'C', 'S'). This flag
cannot be set for individual transactions and logical objects.
The comparison flag determines whether a BC Set is activated checked
('automatically adjustable') or unchecked (all other values). The
manual data maintenance (SPRO) checks are only made in checked
    activation.
If the modification is only an input data check you can usually set the
    value to 'automatically adjustable'.
If the modification is only a check of the input data, you can usually
set the value to 'automatically adjustable'.
You must analyze modifications to the standard view maintenance at
events or modules more closely. If you cannot do so, set the comparison
flag to 'not adjustable', i.e. unchecked activation.
<ZH>In other words:</> If the modification is a 'data restriction',
i.e. the value entered in manual maintenance has been checked, you can
usually set 'automatically adjustable', because if you subsequently
create a BC Set the data is complete and it does not matter that the
previous entries were restricted (it does not affect the completeness
of the data used). You must examine a 'data enhancement', i.e. data is
updated in the background in addition to manual maintenance (e.g.
create and activate a BC Set) more closely, to see whether all the data
can be put in the BC Set, and whether its completeness is guaranteed at
activation. In this case you may have to include the views in SOBJ
(piece list) manually. In some cases you can generate data subsequently
manually in customizing, e.g. by 'Execute'. You can usually not set
    'automatically adjustable' here.
