- Workload collector for distributed statistics records (DSR) ?The SAP error message S03502 typically relates to issues with the workload collector for distributed statistics records (DSR). This error can occur in the context of performance monitoring and workload analysis in SAP systems, particularly when there are problems with the collection or processing of workload data.
Cause:
The S03502 error can be caused by several factors, including:
- Configuration Issues: Incorrect configuration of the workload collector or the distributed statistics records can lead to this error.
- Data Volume: Excessive data volume or a large number of records being processed can overwhelm the workload collector.

- Authorization Problems: Insufficient authorizations for the user or service account running the workload collector can lead to this error.
Solution:
To resolve the S03502 error, you can take the following steps:
Check Configuration: Review the configuration settings for the workload collector and ensure they are set up correctly. This includes checking parameters related to the DSR and workload collection.
Monitor System Performance: Use transaction codes like ST03N (Workload Analysis) and ST06 (Operating System Monitor) to monitor system performance. Identify any bottlenecks or resource constraints that may be affecting the workload collector.
Reduce Data Volume: If the workload collector is processing a large volume of data, consider reducing the amount of data being collected or processed. This can involve adjusting the time intervals for data collection or filtering out unnecessary records.
Check Network Connectivity: If the workload collector is supposed to communicate with other systems, ensure that there are no network issues. Check for connectivity and latency problems.
Review Authorizations: Ensure that the user or service account running the workload collector has the necessary authorizations to access the required data and perform the workload collection.
Update SAP Notes: Check for any relevant SAP Notes that may address this specific error. SAP frequently releases updates and patches that can resolve known issues.
