- No system load data exists ?The SAP error message S03100 "No system load data exists" typically indicates that the system is unable to retrieve or find any load data for the specified time period or parameters. This can occur in various contexts, such as when trying to analyze system performance or when generating reports related to system load.
Causes:
No Data Collected: The most common reason for this error is that no load data has been collected for the specified time frame. This can happen if the system monitoring or data collection processes were not active during that period.
Incorrect Time Frame: The time frame specified in the report or query may not correspond to any data that has been collected. For example, if you are looking for data from a time period that is outside the range of collected data.
Data Deletion: Load data may have been deleted due to data retention policies or manual deletion processes.
Configuration Issues: There may be issues with the configuration of the monitoring tools or the data collection settings in the SAP system.
Authorization Issues: Sometimes, the user may not have the necessary authorizations to view the load data, leading to the appearance that no data exists.
Solutions:
Check Data Collection Settings: Ensure that the system is configured to collect load data. This may involve checking the settings in transaction codes like ST03N (Workload Analysis) or ST06 (Operating System Monitor).
Verify Time Frame: Double-check the time frame you are querying. Make sure it aligns with the periods for which data has been collected.
Review Data Retention Policies: If data has been deleted, review the data retention policies in place. You may need to adjust these settings to retain data for longer periods.
Run Data Collection Jobs: If data collection jobs are not running, you may need to schedule or restart them. This can often be done through transaction SM37 (Job Monitoring).
Check Authorizations: Ensure that the user has the necessary authorizations to access the load data. This may involve checking roles and permissions in transaction PFCG.
