Message text: Statistics type &1: Element category "Absolute" not allowed in CFaR
For the Cash Flow at Risk calculation, you have chosen a volatility type
or correlation type referring to a statistics type with element category
<LS>Absolute</>. This is not supported (for instance, random walk values
might otherwise be negative).
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Maintain your volatility type, correlation type, and statistics type so
that another element category is used.

- Statistics type &1: Element category "Absolute" not allowed in CFaR ?The SAP error message RY366 indicates that there is an issue with the configuration of the statistics type in the context of the CFaR (Cash Flow at Risk) calculation. Specifically, the error states that the element category "Absolute" is not allowed for the specified statistics type.
Cause:
- Incorrect Configuration: The statistics type you are trying to use is configured to accept only certain element categories, and "Absolute" is not one of them. This typically occurs when the settings for the statistics type in the system do not align with the requirements of the CFaR calculation.
- Data Entry Error: There may be a mistake in the data entry or selection of the statistics type that is being used in the CFaR process.
- Version Compatibility: If there have been recent updates or changes to the SAP system, it is possible that the compatibility of certain statistics types with CFaR has changed.
Solution:
- Check Configuration: Review the configuration settings for the statistics type in the SAP system. Ensure that the element categories allowed for the statistics type are correctly set up. You may need to consult with your SAP Basis or configuration team to verify this.
- Use Allowed Element Categories: If "Absolute" is not allowed, you will need to select a different element category that is compatible with the statistics type you are using. This may involve changing the settings in the CFaR configuration or selecting a different statistics type altogether.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to the SAP documentation or help resources related to CFaR and statistics types to understand the requirements and limitations better.
- Testing: After making changes, perform tests to ensure that the CFaR calculations are functioning correctly without triggering the error message.
