    What causes this issue?

As of SAP S/4HANA 1610 FPS1, this transaction is updated. The following
is a list of the changes to the transaction:
The <LS>Offset Account</> option is removed from the <LS>Balance Check
</> drop-down list. If your existing document types have <LS>Offset
Account</>, be aware it does not work anymore.
The system automatically generates document type ?00? for flexible
upload when you first activate the model. You cannot create additional
    flexible upload document types.
The system automatically generates document type ?01? for currency
translation if you have your model set for <LS>Currency Translation in
SAP S/4HANA</>. You can now add offset items only for currency
    translation document types.
The system automatically generates document type ?03? for BPC
    write-back.
Version-dependent number range intervals have been removed. You can use
additional document types if you want to differentiate multiple number
range intervals for different consolidation versions.
A namespace check has been added. All auto-generated document types have
a namespace starting with 0~9. You can create your own document types
out of the namespace. For those auto-generated document types, you are
not allowed to delete them, but can change them with limitations
according to different task types. For old models, you may occupy the
auto-generation namespace, but the system will not auto-generate system
    document types for these models.
