  • What causes this issue?

    During the last call of the Development Worbench, a background job was
    scheduled that activates the objects of the technical BI Content. These
    objects are required to make full use of the BW system.
    During activation of these objects, errors occurred.
    The functional restrictions due to the errors inactivation are most
    likely minimal and only affect selected areas.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Check the job log of the background job BI_TCO_ACTIVATION using
    transaction SM37.
    If you do not find a sufficient error message there, check the logs in
    the application log. You can display the logs using transaction
    RSTCO_ADMIN or SLG1.
    Depending on the error message, go to the application log to rectify the
    error.
    If you can eliminate the error, you can start activation again using
    transaction RSTCO_ADMIN. You can also attempt to activate the objects
    with errors manually using transaction RSOR.
