characteristic values that are in the correct format but for which
there are characteristic values that contain errors and still give this
value even after correction. As a corrected value, the result of an
internal/external conversion with a corresponding external/internal
conversion is used.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
