  • Message class: RSRV -

  • Message number: 183

  • Show details Hide details
  • Description:
The text table of a characteristic has a characteristic value as a key
field. The characteristic values that appear in this column of the text
table must also appear in the <AB>SID</> table for the characteristic.
Characteristic values from the text table found in this test that do
not appear in the <AB>SID</> table do not impede the normal operation of
Business Information Warehouse. However, when you convert
characteristic values that, in view of the conversion routine that you
are using, are in an incorrect format, such characteristic values can
lead to a short dump in the conversion program (see
    <DS:DT.RSMD_CONVERSION>Converting Inconsistent Internal Characteristic
    Values (Transaction RSMDCNVEXIT)</>).
    Repairs:
You can correct inconsistencies found in the test in the repair mode.
New entries are then written into the SID table.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
