RSRV154 - Overview

What causes this issue?

There are inactive hierarchies for characteristic &V1&. This is not an
error. However, it could be the case that a BW adminstrator forgot to
activate these hierarchies. Only the active versions of hierarchies are
visible in Reporting.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

You can activate the inactive hierarchies in the hierarchy maintenance
(for example in transaction <EX>RSH1</>).
If a hierarchy is being used in aggregates, the system asks you whether
you want to execute the aggregate change run immediately and activate
the hierarchy when it ends, or whether you want to mark the aggregate
change run to be exectued later.
