  • What causes this issue?

As a result of conflicting conditions, the display hierarchy has been
restricted to the extent that no more data can be displayed. This
generally occurs when the user has insufficient hierarchy
    authorizations.
In some cases, selection and filter values can result in empty results,
which may in turn result in the message "No authorization" even though
    the user has sufficient authorization.
No data from the selection, filters, and authorizations correspond to
    the resulting restrictions.

    System Response

    No data is displayed.

    How to fix this error?

Check the authorizations for the user. If the authorizations are
sufficient, check whether the hierarchy property "Suppression of po
    stable nodes" is activated.
Also check whether a combination of other restrictions (such as
hierarchy node variables, or dynamic or fixed filters) could result in
    an empty result set.

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message RSRB1205 - All filtered; see long text ?

The SAP error message RSRB1205 ("All filtered; see long text") typically occurs in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) when you are trying to execute a query or report, and the result set is empty due to the applied filters. This message indicates that all the data has been filtered out based on the criteria set in the query.

    Cause:

    1. Filter Criteria: The filters applied in the query may be too restrictive, leading to no data being returned. This can happen if:

      • The selected characteristics or key figures do not match any records in the database.
      • The date range or other parameters are set incorrectly.
      • The user does not have authorization to view certain data.
    2. Data Availability: There may be no data available in the InfoProvider for the selected filters. This could be due to:

      • Data not being loaded into the InfoProvider.
      • Data being archived or deleted.
    3. Query Design: The design of the query itself may inadvertently lead to filtering out all data, such as using calculated key figures or restricted key figures that do not return any results.

    Solution:

    1. Review Filters: Check the filters applied in the query. Ensure that they are set correctly and are not too restrictive. You can:

      • Remove or adjust filters to broaden the search criteria.
      • Verify the values selected in the filter fields.
    2. Check Data Availability: Ensure that there is data available in the InfoProvider for the selected filters. You can:

      • Run a simple query without filters to see if any data exists.
      • Check the data load process to ensure that data has been successfully loaded into the InfoProvider.
    3. Authorization Check: Verify that the user executing the query has the necessary authorizations to view the data. If not, appropriate roles and authorizations should be assigned.

    4. Query Design Review: If you are the query designer, review the query design to ensure that it is set up correctly. Look for:

      • Any calculated or restricted key figures that may be filtering out data.
      • The structure of the query and how the filters are applied.
    5. Long Text: As the error message suggests, check the long text associated with the error for additional context or specific details that may help in troubleshooting.

    Related Information:
