The SAP error message RSR_PE062 indicates that there is an issue with a key figure in an InfoProvider that is being used in a Process Chain (PAK - Process Chain). Specifically, the error suggests that the key figure in question has an aggregation type that is not compatible with the operation being performed in the Process Chain.

    Cause:

The error typically arises due to one of the following reasons:

    1. Incompatible Aggregation Type: The key figure has an aggregation type that is not suitable for the operation being performed. For example, if the key figure is set to "Count" or "Distinct Count," it may not be compatible with certain types of data processing in the Process Chain.
    2. Data Model Issues: The InfoProvider may have been designed in a way that does not align with the requirements of the Process Chain, leading to conflicts during execution.

    Solution:

To resolve the RSR_PE062 error, you can take the following steps:

    1. Check Key Figure Aggregation:

      • Go to the InfoProvider in the SAP BW system and check the properties of the key figure that is causing the issue.
      • Ensure that the aggregation type is compatible with the operations in the Process Chain. If necessary, change the aggregation type to a more suitable one (e.g., from "Count" to "Sum").
    2. Review Process Chain Configuration:

      • Examine the Process Chain to identify where the key figure is being used. Ensure that the operations being performed are compatible with the key figure's aggregation type.
      • If the Process Chain is using a data flow that requires a different aggregation type, consider modifying the data flow or the key figure.
    3. Test the InfoProvider:

      • Run a test query on the InfoProvider to ensure that it returns the expected results without errors. This can help identify if the issue is isolated to the Process Chain or if it is a broader issue with the InfoProvider.
    4. Consult Documentation:

      • Review SAP documentation or notes related to the specific key figure and InfoProvider to understand any known issues or limitations.
    5. Seek Help from SAP Support:

      • If the issue persists after trying the above steps, consider reaching out to SAP support for further assistance. Provide them with the error message details and any relevant configuration information.
