Message text: Check if a temporal operand is set for the object
If, when comparing an InfoSet, you determine that a field still exists
in the InfoSet, but not in the associated InfoProvider, the system tries
to automatically adapt the InfoSet.
This works if a temporal operand has not been set for the attribute. If
this is the case, automatic adaptation cannot take place.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Please first go into the InfoSet in change mode and remove the
associated temporal operands (checkbox in the sixth column). After
saving, you can start a comparison again from the initial screen of the
rsiset. Now automatic adaptation should be possible.

RSQBW007
- Check if a temporal operand is set for the object ?The SAP error message RSQBW007 typically occurs in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) when there is an issue with a temporal operand in a query or report. This error indicates that the system is unable to find or recognize a temporal operand that is expected for the object being processed.
Cause:
- Missing Temporal Operand: The query or report is trying to use a temporal operand (like a time characteristic) that has not been defined or is missing in the data model.
- Incorrect Query Design: The query may be incorrectly designed, where the temporal operand is not properly linked to the data source or is not included in the query definition.
- Data Source Issues: The underlying data source may not have the necessary time characteristics or may not be properly configured to support temporal operations.
- Inconsistent Data Model: There may be inconsistencies in the data model, such as missing time dimensions or attributes that are required for the temporal operand to function correctly.
Solution:
- Check Query Design: Review the query definition in the Query Designer. Ensure that all necessary temporal operands are included and correctly configured.
- Verify Data Source: Check the underlying data source (InfoProvider, DSO, etc.) to ensure that it contains the required time characteristics. If not, you may need to modify the data source or the data model.
- Update Temporal Operand: If the temporal operand is missing, you may need to add it to the query or the data model. This could involve adding a time dimension or ensuring that the time characteristics are properly defined.
- Rebuild the Query: If the issue persists, consider rebuilding the query from scratch to ensure that all components are correctly configured.
- Check for Updates: Ensure that your SAP BW system is up to date with the latest patches and updates, as there may be bug fixes related to temporal operands in newer versions.
