Message class: RSPC - Process Chains
Message number: 150
Message text: Wait another &3 minutes to start process &1 withi job count &2
There is a log entry for process &V1&Job Count &V2& that shows that the
process should have been started by a predecessor.
However, the job is not scheduled.
The predecessor process in the current run has caught up with the
previous run in the chain.
The system waits another &V3& minutes for the job to start; this chain
run is then terminated.
There are probably not enough background processes in your system. Make
sure that there are enough background processes available, since
parallel processes run with process chain processing.
The repeat frequency for the start process might be too short. Check
this and change the period values in the process start conditions if
required.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

RSPC150
- Wait another &3 minutes to start process &1 withi job count &2 ?The SAP error message RSPC150 indicates that a process chain cannot be started immediately because it is currently waiting for a specified amount of time before it can be executed again. This is typically due to a job count limit that has been reached or a timing constraint that has been set for the process chain.
Cause:
- Job Count Limit: The process chain is configured to allow a certain number of concurrent executions. If this limit is reached, the system will prevent new executions until the specified wait time has elapsed.
- Timing Constraints: The process chain may have been set up with specific timing constraints that prevent it from starting immediately after a previous execution.
- Resource Contention: There may be other jobs or processes running that are consuming system resources, leading to delays in starting the new process.
Solution:
- Wait for the Specified Time: The simplest solution is to wait for the specified time (in this case, &3 minutes) before attempting to start the process chain again.
- Check Job Status: Use transaction code
SM37
to check the status of the jobs related to the process chain. If there are jobs that are still running, you may need to wait for them to complete.- Adjust Job Count Settings: If the job count limit is too restrictive, consider adjusting the settings for the process chain to allow for more concurrent executions. This can be done in the process chain maintenance screen.
- Review Process Chain Configuration: Check the configuration of the process chain to ensure that there are no unnecessary constraints that could be causing delays.
- Monitor System Resources: Ensure that the system has adequate resources (CPU, memory, etc.) to handle the jobs being executed. If necessary, optimize or schedule jobs to reduce contention.
