- If it is still running, you may need to wait for it to complete.
Monitor Background Jobs:
- Use transaction code
SM37
to monitor background jobs.- Look for any jobs related to the process chain that may be running or have failed.
- If a job is stuck, you may need to analyze the logs to determine the cause of the hang.
Terminate the Previous Run (if necessary):
- If the previous run is stuck and you need to terminate it, you can do so from the
SM37
transaction.- Select the job and choose the option to cancel or terminate it.
Check for Locks:
- Sometimes, database locks can cause jobs to hang. Check for any locks that might be affecting the process chain.
- You can use transaction code
SM12
to view and manage locks.Review Logs:
- Check the logs of the previous run for any errors or warnings that might indicate why it did not complete successfully.
- Use transaction code
