3. an append whose switch can be relied on by the switch of the append
<(>&<)>V3<(>&<)>.
Characteristic&V1& is in switch&V4& which can not be relied on by the
switch of the append.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Ensure that one of the three conditions listed above is satisfied.
