  • What causes this issue?

Note that selections on the change log for a SAP HANA-optimized
DataStore object should only restrict the request. Otherwise, long run
    times or terminations can occur.
    Background
You are using an SAP HANA-optimized DataStore object. In this case, the
change log is not persisted. Instead, it is calculated from the active
data at the time of access. This optimization saves memory (no redundant
data is stored) and also significantly improves runtime performance
    during data activation.
The calculation view (which the calculation is based on) maps typical
accesses to the change log, such as extraction or rollback of requests,
to optimal access plans. This means high performance be reached in these
    cases.
Non-optimized accesses - which can occur, for example, when any data is
selected or the result set is restricted in the Data Browser (SE16) -
can cause longer runtimes or terminations. In this case, change your
selection in such a way that only the request is restricted.

    Solutions:

    1. Check DSO Configuration: Review the configuration of the DataStore Object. Ensure that it is set up correctly and that all InfoObjects are properly defined.

    2. Optimize Queries: If the error occurs during query execution, try to optimize the query to reduce the complexity or the amount of data being processed at once.

    3. Database Compatibility: Ensure that the database being used is compatible with the operations being performed. Check for any limitations specific to the database version or type.

    4. Data Volume Management: If the issue is related to data volume, consider breaking down the data load into smaller batches or using filters to limit the amount of data processed in a single request.

    5. Check for Updates: Ensure that your SAP system is up to date with the latest patches and updates, as these may contain fixes for known issues.

    6. Consult SAP Notes: Look for relevant SAP Notes that may address this specific error. SAP Notes often provide solutions or workarounds for known issues.
