  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You are exiting the transaction of a conversion object (BIXP object).
The object it contains has dependencies to other TLOGO objects for which
conversion objects have not yet been defined.
    <ZH>Example:</>
You want to convert a process chain that uses a DataStore object which
is used in a further process chain as the source of a delta update. If
the DataStore object is deleted in the course of the conversion, the
data in the data targets of the additional process chain must also be
deleted. Otherwise duplicate data might possibly occur in the data
targets of this chain after the DataStore object is rebuilt.
The additional process chain therefore must be delivered within a
    conversion object.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

Determine the dependent objects with the pushbutton <PF>Where-Used List
    </> in transaction RSOBIXP.
The displayed list contains TLOGO objects that must be converted with
the current object. If there is not yet a conversion object for a
certain object, that is column <LS>BIXP-ID</> is empty, you must create
a conversion object for this object.

The SAP error message RSO_BIXP017, which states "List of conversion objects is not complete (see long text)," typically occurs in the context of Business Intelligence (BI) or Business Warehouse (BW) when there is an issue with the conversion objects used in a data extraction or reporting process.

    Cause:

The error usually indicates that there are missing or incomplete conversion objects that are required for the data extraction or transformation process. This can happen due to several reasons, including:

    1. Missing Conversion Objects: The required conversion objects (like InfoObjects, DataSources, or transformation rules) are not defined or are incomplete in the system.
    2. Inconsistent Data Model: Changes in the data model (like changes in InfoObjects or DataSources) that have not been properly reflected in the related transformation or data flow.
    3. Transport Issues: If the objects were transported from one system to another, there might be inconsistencies or missing objects in the target system.
    4. Authorization Issues: Sometimes, the user may not have the necessary authorizations to access certain conversion objects.

    Solution:

To resolve the RSO_BIXP017 error, you can follow these steps:

      • If you are using transformations, check the transformation rules to ensure that they are correctly set up and that all required fields are mapped properly.
    3. Consistency Check:

      • Perform a consistency check on the data model to identify any inconsistencies or missing objects. You can use transaction codes like RSA1 (Data Warehousing Workbench) to check the status of your InfoProviders and DataSources.
