Message text: Move mode used in the update rules; Cancellation not possible
Move Mode (replacing available values with equal characteristic values)
is used in the update rules, which means you cannot cancel this request
(or that it would not be useful to cancel it, since the replacement is
not removed with a negative update of the data, and, as a result, the
InfoCube contains incorrect data).
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Delete the request from the InfoCube.
If aggregates exist, however, you cannot delete the request. Instead,
deactivate the aggregates, delete the request from the InfoCube, and
reconstruct the aggregates again.
If the request is compressed, it is no longer possible to delete it,
because the request ID is no longer available in the InfoCube, and the
system cannot identify the data that you want to delete.
The only option in this case, is to delete the contents of the InfoCube
completely, reconstructing the InfoCube from the PSA or by ALE inbound
processing, or to reload the data from the source system again.

RSM1027
- Move mode used in the update rules; Cancellation not possible ?The SAP error message RSM1027, which states "Move mode used in the update rules; Cancellation not possible," typically occurs in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) when you are trying to cancel a data update that was performed using a move mode in the update rules. This error indicates that the system cannot cancel the data update because the move mode does not support cancellation.
Cause:
The primary cause of this error is that the update rules for the data transfer are set to "move mode." In move mode, data is moved from the source to the target without retaining the original data in the source. This means that once the data is moved, it cannot be reversed or canceled, leading to the error message when a cancellation attempt is made.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, you can consider the following approaches:
Check Update Rules: Review the update rules for the data transfer. If you need the ability to cancel updates, consider changing the update mode from "move mode" to "additive mode" or "overwrite mode," which allows for cancellations.
Data Reprocessing: If the data needs to be corrected or reprocessed, you may need to load the data again from the source system instead of trying to cancel the previous update. This can be done by re-executing the data load process.
Manual Correction: If the data that was moved needs to be corrected, you may need to manually adjust the data in the target InfoProvider or use a different method to correct the data.
Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for more detailed information on update modes and their implications.
Contact SAP Support: If you are unable to resolve the issue, consider reaching out to SAP support for assistance, especially if this is impacting critical business processes.
