    Cause:

The error arises when you attempt to close or delete a real-time data request that is still in process or has not been fully completed. This is often seen in scenarios where data is being streamed or loaded continuously, such as from an operational system.

    Solution:

To resolve this error, you can take the following steps:

    1. Check the Status of the Request:

      • Go to the Data Warehousing Workbench (transaction code RSA1) and check the status of the request in the relevant InfoProvider or DataStore Object (DSO).
      • Ensure that the request is not still in process or waiting for data.

      • If the request is part of a real-time data flow, ensure that the source system is still sending data and that there are no issues with the data transfer.
    3. Wait for Completion:

      • If the request is still processing, you may need to wait until it completes before attempting to close or delete it.
    4. Check for Errors in Data Transfer:

      • Look for any errors in the data transfer process that might be causing the request to hang or not complete.
    5. Use Transaction RSMO:

      • You can use transaction RSMO to monitor and manage the real-time requests. This transaction provides insights into the status of real-time requests and can help you identify any issues.
    6. Consult SAP Notes:

      • If the issue persists, check for any relevant SAP Notes that might address specific issues related to real-time requests. You can search for notes in the SAP Support Portal.
