Message class: RSEC -
Message number: 420
Message text: Old migration data may be overwritten incompletely
The check of which users still have authorizations or profiles that come
from earlier migrations determined that there are more users than the
number of those that are now to be generated.
During migration, however, the authorizations (and profiles) previously
generated by migration are deleted (or entries made previously are undon
e) before analysis authorizations are regenerated.
Example:
You migrate first for users U1 and U2 and authorization object B2, and i
n the second step, for users U1 and B1. Users have authorizations as
follows:
U1: Profile1 for B1 and Profile2 for B2
U2: Profile2 for B2
During the second migration attempt, all authorizations or migrated prof
iles that user U1 already has are removed. During this process, the
migration result for Profile2, which user U2 also has, would be deleted.
The system warns that the user group is incomplete (because user U2 is
missing).
You can continue and accept the inconsistency or perform the migration f
rom U1 and U2 for the two authorization objects B1 and B2 so that the
inconsistency disappears.
In interactive mode, a warning and list of the missing users appears.
If this message appears in interactive mode, you are asked how you want
to proceed (continue despite danger of inconsistencies that can be remov
ed).
Otherwise the old data is overwritten.
If you unintentionally caused an inconsistency, you can correct it by mi
grating the larger group of users again, that is, by adding the missing
users. See the example above.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
