RSDODSO217
- InfoObjects exist that are not yet assigned; See long text ?The SAP error message RSDODSO217 indicates that there are InfoObjects in a DataStore Object (DSO) that have not yet been assigned to any of the DSO's structures (like the key, data, or key figures). This can occur during the activation or transport of a DSO, and it typically means that there are inconsistencies in the DSO definition.
Cause:
- Unassigned InfoObjects: The DSO contains InfoObjects that have been created but not assigned to any of the DSO's structures (e.g., key fields, data fields).
- Changes in InfoObjects: If InfoObjects were modified or deleted after they were created, it could lead to inconsistencies.
- Transport Issues: If the DSO was transported from one system to another, there might be issues with the InfoObjects not being included in the transport.
Solution:
Check InfoObject Assignment:
- Go to the DSO definition in the Data Warehousing Workbench (transaction code RSA1).
- Check the InfoObjects assigned to the DSO. Ensure that all required InfoObjects are assigned to the appropriate structures (key, data, and key figures).
Assign Missing InfoObjects:
- If you find any unassigned InfoObjects, assign them to the appropriate structure in the DSO definition.
Re-activate the DSO:
- After making the necessary assignments, try to activate the DSO again. This can be done in the Data Warehousing Workbench.
Check for Transport Issues:
- If the DSO was recently transported, ensure that all related InfoObjects were also transported correctly. You may need to re-transport the InfoObjects if they are missing.
