RSDD052
- No aggregates for InfoCube &1 can be proposed ?The SAP error message RSDD052 indicates that there are no aggregates available for the specified InfoCube. This can occur in the context of reporting or querying when the system is unable to find any pre-calculated aggregates that can be used to optimize the performance of the query.
Causes:
- No Aggregates Created: The most common reason for this error is that no aggregates have been defined for the InfoCube. Aggregates are pre-calculated summaries of data that help improve query performance.
- Incorrect Aggregation Levels: If the aggregates that exist do not match the characteristics or key figures being queried, the system will not be able to propose any aggregates.
- Data Model Changes: Changes in the InfoCube structure, such as adding or removing characteristics or key figures, may lead to the existing aggregates becoming invalid or unusable.
- Transport Issues: If the InfoCube and its aggregates were transported from one system to another, there may be inconsistencies or missing objects.
Solutions:
- Create Aggregates: If no aggregates exist, you can create them using the Aggregate Maintenance transaction (transaction code RSA1). Navigate to the InfoCube, and create aggregates based on the required characteristics and key figures.
- Check Existing Aggregates: Review the existing aggregates to ensure they are valid and appropriate for the queries being run. You can do this in the Aggregate Maintenance screen.
- Adjust Query Design: If the query is designed to use characteristics or key figures that are not included in the existing aggregates, consider modifying the query to align with the available aggregates.
- Rebuild Aggregates: If there have been changes to the InfoCube, you may need to rebuild the aggregates to ensure they are compatible with the current structure.
- Transport Consistency: If the issue is related to transport, ensure that all necessary objects are included in the transport request and that they are correctly imported into the target system.
