- Not all requests have been rolled up to subsequent data marts ?The SAP error message RSDA157 indicates that not all requests have been successfully rolled up to the subsequent data marts in the context of SAP BW (Business Warehouse) or SAP BW/4HANA. This error typically arises during the data loading or data processing phases when there are issues with the data transfer from one layer to another.
Causes:
- Data Transfer Issues: There may be problems with the data transfer process, such as network issues, system downtime, or configuration errors.
- Data Quality Issues: If the data being processed contains errors or inconsistencies, it may prevent successful roll-up.
- Request Status: Some requests may be in a failed or canceled state, which can lead to incomplete roll-up.
- Data Mart Configuration: Incorrect configuration of the data mart or the InfoProvider can lead to issues in data aggregation.
- Locks or Conflicts: Database locks or conflicts with other processes can prevent the roll-up from completing successfully.
Solutions:
- Check Request Status: Review the status of the requests in the Data Warehousing Workbench (transaction RSA1) to identify any that have failed or are incomplete. You may need to reprocess these requests.
- Analyze Error Logs: Look at the error logs for detailed information about what went wrong during the roll-up process. This can provide insights into specific issues that need to be addressed.
- Data Quality Checks: Ensure that the data being loaded is clean and meets the necessary quality standards. This may involve running data validation checks or cleansing processes.
- Reprocess Requests: If certain requests have failed, you may need to reprocess them. This can often be done through the Data Warehousing Workbench or by using specific transaction codes.
- Configuration Review: Verify the configuration of the data mart and InfoProviders to ensure they are set up correctly for the roll-up process.
- Database Locks: Check for any locks on the database that may be preventing the roll-up. You may need to resolve these locks before proceeding.
- System Performance: Ensure that the system is performing optimally and that there are no resource constraints that could affect the roll-up process.
