How To Fix RSD_TREX601 - Do you want to create the BWA index for object '&1?

SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: RSD_TREX - Messages from TREX Aggregate Area

  • Message number: 601

  • Message text: Do you want to create the BWA index for object '&1?

  • Show details Hide details
  • In the "Creation of a BWA Index" step, the indexes for the tables of the
BW object are created on the BWA server if these have not yet been
    created by another BWA index.
BW object = InfoCube: In this case, the tables are fact and dimension
tables for the InfoCube. An exception is if the BWA index is created as
a flat table; only the package dimension table and the denormalized form
of the fact table are created as the index.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

BW object = InfoObject: The object is a view of the tables bearing
master data (SID, X; Y; P, Q) and the text table.
If data from additional BW objects is required, (for example, text
tables of attributes, master data tables of characteristics, or n
avigation attributes in the InfoCube), the system automatically creates
    these as indexes.
A logical index is also created. This contains the metadata of the BWA
    index.
Once the BWA index is created in a dialog process, a background process
to fill the BWA index must be scheduled.
