- Deviation in average of attribute &1 from table &2 for DB and BWA ?The SAP error message RSD_TREX433 indicates a deviation in the average of an attribute from a table in the database (DB) and the Business Warehouse Accelerator (BWA). This error typically arises during the data loading or reporting processes in SAP BW when there is a mismatch between the data stored in the database and the data in the BWA.
Cause:
- Data Inconsistency: The most common cause of this error is that the data in the database and the data in the BWA are not synchronized. This can happen if there were changes made to the data in the database that were not reflected in the BWA.
- Data Load Issues: If there were issues during the data load process, such as incomplete loads or errors, this could lead to discrepancies.
- Aggregation Issues: If the aggregation settings for the attribute are not correctly configured, it may lead to differences in the calculated averages.
- Data Modeling Issues: Incorrect data modeling or transformations in the InfoObjects or InfoProviders can also lead to this error.
Solution:
- Re-Indexing: One of the first steps to resolve this issue is to re-index the BWA. This can be done through the SAP BW administration tools. Re-indexing will ensure that the data in the BWA is consistent with the data in the database.
- Data Consistency Check: Perform a consistency check between the database and the BWA. This can be done using transaction codes like
RSD1
(for InfoObjects) orRSA1
(for Data Warehousing Workbench).- Data Load Monitoring: Check the data load process for any errors or warnings. You can use transaction
LBWQ
to monitor the data load queues and ensure that all data is loaded correctly.- Re-Load Data: If discrepancies are found, consider reloading the data from the source system to ensure that the BWA has the correct and updated data.
- Check Aggregation Settings: Review the aggregation settings for the relevant InfoObjects to ensure they are configured correctly.
- Update Statistics: Sometimes, updating the statistics for the InfoProvider can help resolve discrepancies.
